I started taking cerezet mini pill about 2/3 months ago, I started bleeding 12 days ago, but thought at first pehaps im just spotting. it will calm down. But its since been 12 days of heavy proper period bleeding...is this normal?should i seek advice??

Don't stop taking it! Dysfunction or erratic bleeding often occurs in the first 3 months and occasionally in the first 6 on mini pills. Your GP should have warned you about this and anyway it is in the packet insert. By all means go to see your GP if you want further reassurance.
I would stop taking pill if I were you and went to GP to seek for more help if bleeding didnt stop. Some bledding is normal when using contraceptive but heavily bleeding only means its not suitable for you.
I would go back to the doctor and see what he says. I know not every pill is suitable for every woman. I started taking the same mini pill as you last August and haven't had a period since (and I'm not pregnant), I was told that this could happen. I would get it checked, just to be on the safe side.
go and c your doctor,that don,t sound right.u must b knacked.maybe the pill don,t agree with you.i can,t take the pill.i got the same as u.they changed it for a different 1.hope this helps.
I took that and I had very bad stomach pains for the 1st month - depo provera is a much better option - you dont get periods while your on it and its an injection in your bum cheek every 3 months so you dont have to remember to take it daily. Speak to your doctor and tell him your concerns
