On the box of tampons they say enter at a angle im not sure what the angle is. Im scared its in rong HELP!?

So anyone with help!!
Answer:
You are not going to hurt yourself.
And you really can't put it in wrong.
If you follow all the directions and when you insert it, tip it toward your spine, you will know when it is in correctly. The only thing you can do "incorrect" is to NOT put it in far enough.
Then it will feel uncomfortable. Then you will know it is not past the cervix. Just reinsert.
Relax!
We have all had the very same questions, concerns and fears.

It just means the angle of your vagina. Once you have put it in, and it feels comfortable, you have done it right. Just don't try and force them in, that's all it means.
You'll be able to tell if you're doing it right or wrong. It won't hurt or anything, it will just be uncomfortable, if it's not in the correct position. Try putting one foot up on the edge of your bath tub or something, and take a few deep breaths and relax before you do it. Make sure to take your time.
i think that confused me to a little bit when i started my period. it just means that you shorta hold the tampon slanted when it goes in, because your vagina sorta slants backwards, it isnt straight up and down. if you know where your vagina is..the tampon should just go in a little bit slanted, dont be scared over it :]

slanted like this: %26#92;
Hahahaha. You must know your own angle.If you try to push it in , it will not go in. There is an angle of penetration and follow that. Nothing serious is going to happen if you miss the angle. It may leak that is all. Learn things the hard way, if your mother is not there to teach you.
That just means that you need to hold your hand not directly under where you place the tampon. Pretend the tampon is a slide, the way a slide slants. Now, in slide position, just carefully insert it. Good luck!
If it is your first time and you are scared, I suggest asking your mom, best girl friend, someone you trust to either help you put it in or put it in for you. My friend was too scared to wear one and one of us helped her. Its nothing to be embarrassed about. Tampons, if inserted incorrectly can cause TSS.
There should be instructions on insertion in or on the box. These instructions show that type of angle that you should use. You could slide your finger in while you are not having your period to feel the angle. That should provide you with the best possible information as to how to slide in the tampon.
